Facilities Operations Engineer

Serve as Facilities Mechanical SME for Chiller Water and HVAC systems, High Pressure compressors, Fire Pumps, Potable Water and Vacuum systems to minimize equipment down time and process interruptions and maintain regulatory and environmental compliance. Supervise maintenance trades for day to day activities such as troubleshooting, PMs, cost reduction, etc. Support facilities projects and supervise trades/contractors in the construction, testing, installation, and debugging of equipment. Spec out and formulate tests or experiments for prototype equipment. Interface with vendors to ensure that adequate supplies and services are provided for pollution abatement equipment. As needed, develop, document, and deliver training packages for new or modified equipment to operations and support groups. Understand and audit for equipment safety and personnel safety.
