Controls and Compliance Associate

Assist in coordinating the integrated audit, including updating the project timeline calendar, scheduling meetings and follow-ups. Track both internal and external document requests. Conduct meetings with business process owners to discuss processes and controls. Attend and lead process walkthrough meetings. Develop process narratives and flowcharts. Test internal controls and perform testwork according to audit program under supervision of the Controls and Compliance Senior or above. Update the risk and controls matrix as needed and as testing progress is made. Assess internal control deficiencies, including root cause analysis, and recommend correct course of action. Maintain the data within AuditBoard, our internal controls software. Manage the quarterly certification email process with management. Draft internal communications emails, reports, and PowerPoints, as needed.
