Communicate and collaborate as needed with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all materials as scheduled through SAP. Analyze and escalate any significant supplier delivery issues to manager, so plant production is not interrupted. Use internal plant tools and processes to provide accurately planned deliveries. Communicate and collaborate internally at Cooper Standard Oscoda across all departments effected by Material deliveries. Work with Plant Logistics Provider on scheduling regularly planned shipments to minimize out of process premium freight. Work with Cycle Counting and Records Integrity to ensure inventory accuracy. Be prepared to assist the rest of the Production Control department in activities as required. Manage inventory to achieve department inventory KPIs.
