The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory specimen processing department, including ensuring that all specimen samples are accurately examined, analyzed, reported, and archived.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field, as well as at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory specimen processing department.
2. Ensure that all specimen samples are accurately examined, analyzed, reported, and archived.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of specimens.
4. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching in order to improve efficiency and accuracy.
5. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff members and other departments.
6. Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
7. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of laboratory test results.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of laboratory results and activities.
9. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and feedback.
10. Act as a liaison between the laboratory and other departments.
11. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
12. Develop and implement quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy of laboratory results.
