
Lactation Consultant
Concord Hospital is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lactation Consultant to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be an expert in breastfeeding and lactation, with a strong commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and their families. The Lactation Consultant will provide comprehensive lactation consultation services including assessment, education, and counseling to patients and their families. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience as a Lactation Consultant, as well as certification from an accredited program. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of breastfeeding and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. A dedication to evidence-based care and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction are a must. The ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment is essential. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive lactation consultation services including assessment, education, and counseling to patients and their families.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of breastfeeding and evidence-based care.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to lactation consultation services.
- Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuing education activities to stay current in the field of lactation.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
Cnm Or Ibclc Certification
Current Rn Licensure
At Least Years Of Experience Working In A Related Field
