Emergency Department Technician

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Department Technician to join the team at Concord Hospital. The Emergency Department Technician must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). 1. Assist medical staff in providing quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
2. Follow instructions from medical staff regarding patient care and treatment.
3. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care and treatment.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
5. Perform technical procedures such as drawing blood, collecting and processing specimens, and obtaining vital signs.
6. Assist with patient transport and transfer as needed.
7. Assist with stocking medical supplies and maintaining medical equipment.
8. Observe and report any changes in patient condition to medical staff.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
10. Provide compassionate and respectful care to all patients.
