Responsibilities:

1. Perform high quality vascular ultrasounds on patients according to accepted standards.
2. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
3. Maintain and store patient records according to established guidelines.
4. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
5. Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functioning.
6. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.
7. Perform administrative tasks as needed.
8. Maintain current certification and licensure in Ultrasound Technology.
9. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care.
10. Participate in continuing education and other professional development opportunities.
