Job Description

At Community Health Network, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist Registered (PRN) to join our team! As a PRN Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our patients by delivering high quality respiratory care services. You will be responsible for providing patient assessments and treatments, as well as providing patient education and support.To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care, be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Indiana and be registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). You must also have a minimum of two years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Responsibilities of a PRN Respiratory Therapist:

  1. Provide patient assessments and treatments according to established standards and protocols.
  2. Provide patient education and support to ensure patient understanding of treatments and therapies.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  4. Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes of treatments.
  5. Adhere to safety standards and infection control policies.
  6. Follow all organizational policies and procedures.
  7. Keep up-to-date with current advances in the field and attend relevant training sessions.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  9. Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies.
  10. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Cpr Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Care

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Certification

  • Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner License

  • At Least Years Of Critical Care Experience In A Hospital Setting

  • Knowledge Of The Principles And Practices Of Respiratory Care

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills

  • Ability To Work Independently As Well As In A Team Environment.
