
Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health

We are currently seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health to join our team. This is a full-time position with a focus on providing care and support to individuals in our inpatient behavioral health unit. The successful candidate must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana. They should have a minimum of two years of experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing, preferably in a hospital setting. We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, as well as someone who is organized and has the ability to manage multiple tasks. The successful candidate must also possess a passion for providing quality patient care and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
- Work as a team member in providing comprehensive, quality care to patients and their families.
- Maintain a commitment to patient safety and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for inpatient behavioral health patients.
- Monitor and assess patient progress and provide appropriate interventions.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Document in patient medical records in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with patients, family members, and other healthcare staff.
- Participate in on-call and/or shift duties as required.
- Participate in educational and professional development activities.
Valid Rn License In Indiana
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
At Least Two Years Of Professional Nursing Experience In Behavioral Health/Mental Health
Ability To Assess Patient Condition And Implement Appropriate Interventions
Ability To Coordinate Care With Other Members Of The Healthcare Team
Knowledge Of Chemical Dependency And Mental Health Issues
