Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team at Community Health Network! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. To be successful as a Patient Care Technician, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to multitask efficiently. Additionally, you should possess a compassionate and friendly nature, allowing you to interact positively with patients and health care staff.The required qualifications for this position are: a high school diploma or equivalent, current CPR certification, and a minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting. Previous experience in a patient care technician role is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service and patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Communicate and interact professionally and compassionately with patients and health care staff.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and document all patient care activities.
  4. Assist with setting up medical equipment and supplies.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as directed by a physician.
  6. Assist with laboratory tests and specimen collection.
  7. Support nursing staff with patient care activities.
  8. Maintain patient safety and follow infection control procedures.
  9. Perform general clerical duties as needed.
  10. Follow all HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.
