
Patient Care Technician
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team at Community Health Network! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. To be successful as a Patient Care Technician, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to multitask efficiently. Additionally, you should possess a compassionate and friendly nature, allowing you to interact positively with patients and health care staff.The required qualifications for this position are: a high school diploma or equivalent, current CPR certification, and a minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting. Previous experience in a patient care technician role is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate and interact professionally and compassionately with patients and health care staff.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document all patient care activities.
- Assist with setting up medical equipment and supplies.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by a physician.
- Assist with laboratory tests and specimen collection.
- Support nursing staff with patient care activities.
- Maintain patient safety and follow infection control procedures.
- Perform general clerical duties as needed.
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.
