Floor Technician

At Community Health Network, we are looking for a talented and experienced Floor Technician to join our maintenance team. Our Floor Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of the floors in our facilities to ensure they are clean, safe, and presentable. The ideal candidate must possess a deep commitment to excellence and demonstrate an eye for detail. The individual must also be highly organized and possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, and other staff members. Responsibilities for Floor Technician:

• Clean, maintain, and polish floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards

• Inspect floors for damage and take action to repair surfaces as necessary

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors on a regular basis to ensure a clean and hygienic environment

• Strip, wax, and buff floors to ensure they are presentable and free of dirt and debris

• Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure floors are properly maintained

• Maintain accurate records of floor maintenance activities

• Identify and report any problems or potential safety hazards

• Follow safety instructions and use appropriate safety equipment when working with chemicals and cleaning supplies

• Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner

• Remain up-to-date on cleaning processes and safety standards
