
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Community Health Network, you will play a vital role in providing the highest level of patient care to our community. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate CRNA who has a commitment to excellence and provides exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing Anesthesia, be certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), and have a valid state license to practice as a nurse anesthetist. Additionally, the successful candidate should have a strong commitment to patient safety, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients in a safe and effective manner.
- Monitor patient vital signs and make necessary adjustments to anesthesia as needed.
- Prepare the operating room for surgery and ensure that all necessary equipment is available.
- Discuss patient medical history and all relevant information with anesthesiologist prior to surgery.
- Educate patients and their families on the risks and benefits of anesthesia.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain all professional licensure and certification requirements.
- Remain current on advances in the field of anesthesia and participate in continuing education activities.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Current Registered Nurse License In Indiana
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna) Certification
Master's Degree In Nurse Anesthesia From An Accredited Program
At Least One Year Of Experience As A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Principles And Techniques
Knowledge Of Applicable Safety And Legal Regulations
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Medical Professionals
