Senior Cybersecurity Architect

CommonSpirit Health seeks an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our team and help us secure our data and systems. This role requires a highly technical individual with a passion for security and the ability to both lead and collaborate successfully. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, as well as a strong background in designing, deploying, and maintaining highly secure networks. We’re looking for someone who can think strategically and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role• Expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure networks• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Experience leading and collaborating with diverse teams • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement security measures and protocols to protect CommonSpirit Health's data and systems;
2. Design, deploy, and maintain secure networks;
3. Monitor cybersecurity frameworks and best practices;
4. Provide guidance and training to technical and non-technical teams on cybersecurity principles;
5. Troubleshoot and resolve security issues;
6. Monitor data security compliance and audit processes;
7. Research and evaluate emerging security threats and technologies;
8. Maintain up-to-date documentation of security policies and procedures;
9. Develop strategies and plans for mitigating security risks;
10. Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and developments;
11. Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations.
