We at CommonSpirit Health are looking for an experienced Patient Logistics Coordinator to join our team and help ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care. This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to have strong organizational and problem-solving skills. The ideal individual for this role should have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, while always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.The Patient Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Patient Logistics department. The primary role for this position is to provide support and direction in the coordination of patient transportation, scheduling and communication.The successful candidate must have 2+ years of experience in a similar role and a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of customer service principles and practices, and experience with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.If you are passionate about helping people and ready to join our team, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities of a Patient Logistics Coordinator:

  1. Coordinate patient transportation, scheduling, and communication.
  2. Develop and maintain efficient systems to ensure the timely delivery of patient care.
  3. Monitor and assess patient logistics operations on an ongoing basis.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with external transportation providers.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient care transitions.
  6. Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports.
  7. Investigate and resolve any patient logistics issues.
  8. Develop strategies to improve patient care quality and efficiency.
  9. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
  10. Provide administrative support to the patient logistics team.
