CommonSpirit Health is seeking an IT EPIC Instructional Designer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and implement training programs for our employees to ensure their success in utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in instructional design and experience working with EPIC or other healthcare software.   1. Develop and design engaging and effective learning materials for CommonSpirit Health employees related to the EPIC electronic medical record system.
  2. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives.
  3. Utilize instructional design principles and best practices to create interactive and engaging training programs.
  4. Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  5. Stay updated on EPIC and other healthcare software updates and changes to ensure training materials are accurate and current.
  6. Utilize a variety of delivery methods, including e-learning, virtual training, and in-person training, to reach a diverse group of learners.
  7. Create and maintain training schedules and communicate training opportunities to employees.
  8. Work closely with the IT department to ensure technical support is available during training sessions.
  9. Continuously seek feedback and incorporate it into training materials and programs to enhance the learning experience for employees.
  10. Monitor and analyze training data to measure the impact and success of training programs.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in instructional design to continuously improve training programs.
  12. Act as a resource for employees and provide ongoing support for utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system.
  13. Collaborate with other instructional designers and trainers to share best practices and resources.
  14. Follow all CommonSpirit Health guidelines and policies while developing and implementing training programs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Instructional Design, Education, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Instructional Design, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Learning Management Systems And E-Learning Development Tools.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Meet Deadlines.

  • Familiarity With Epic Electronic Health Record System And Understanding Of Healthcare Workflows And Processes.
