  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for EPIC application optimization.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis and testing of EPIC application to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  3. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot EPIC applications to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
  4. Keep up-to-date with the latest EPIC updates, upgrades, and patches and implement them in a timely manner.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for EPIC application processes, procedures, and configurations.
  6. Train and support end-users on how to effectively use the EPIC application and troubleshoot any issues.
  7. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify potential issues and provide timely resolutions.
  8. Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement enhancements to the EPIC application.
  9. Develop and implement data security and disaster recovery protocols for EPIC application.
  10. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the EPIC application.
  11. Participate in the development and implementation of new EPIC modules and applications.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all organizational policies and procedures related to patient information and data security.
  13. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in EPIC technology to provide valuable insights and recommendations for the organization.
  14. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of EPIC application with other systems.
  15. Proactively communicate with stakeholders about any changes, updates, or issues related to the EPIC application.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Epic Application Analysis And Support In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Epic Certification In A Relevant Module (E.g. Ambulatory, Inpatient, Revenue Cycle).

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Operations And Workflows, Including Knowledge Of Hipaa Regulations And Patient Data Privacy.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Provide Technical Support To End-Users.
