- Monitor cardiac rhythms for patients and accurately report any abnormal findings.
- Operate and troubleshoot cardiac monitoring equipment to ensure accurate readings.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status and any changes in cardiac rhythm.
- Identify and respond to alarms and alerts, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all cardiac monitoring activities.

Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification As A Cardiac Monitor Technician From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures They Have Received Proper Training And Are Knowledgeable In Cardiac Monitoring Techniques And Equipment.
Experience: Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Familiarity With Cardiac Monitoring Procedures And Their Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations.
Knowledge Of Ecg Interpretation: A Strong Understanding Of Ecg Interpretation Is Necessary For A Cardiac Monitor Technician. This Includes Identifying Abnormal Heart Rhythms And Understanding The Implications For Patient Care.
Attention To Detail: As A Cardiac Monitor Technician, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail. This Includes Accurately Documenting And Reporting Any Changes In A Patient's Heart Rhythm, As Well As Promptly Recognizing And Responding To Any Abnormalities.
