
Records Clerk
We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Records Clerk to join our team at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medical records, providing administrative support, and helping ensure an efficient and effective records management system. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills and an eye for detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Responsibilities of a Records Clerk:
- Maintain and organize medical records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the records department, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Assist with the implementation of an efficient and effective records management system.
- Ensure that all medical records are up-to-date and correct.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information is maintained.
- Assist with responding to requests for records from other departments and external sources.
- Monitor and respond to emails and other communication related to records management.
- Provide assistance to other departments in records related tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
