  1. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all company data.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data governance needs and requirements.
  3. Conduct data audits and analyses to identify any data quality issues and develop solutions to address them.
  4. Monitor and maintain data governance processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  5. Communicate data governance policies and procedures to all relevant stakeholders and provide training as needed.
  6. Work with IT teams to develop and implement data governance tools and technologies.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance and make recommendations for process improvements.
  8. Collaborate with data owners and data stewards to establish and maintain data standards and definitions.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation for all data governance processes and procedures.
  10. Lead data governance projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  11. Conduct regular data quality assessments and report on findings to management.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  13. Participate in data governance meetings and committees to provide insights and recommendations.
  14. Identify and resolve any data governance issues or conflicts that may arise.
  15. Continuously monitor and improve data governance processes to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data Governance: A Sr Data Governance Analyst At Columbia Sportswear Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working In Data Governance, With A Deep Understanding Of Data Management Principles, Policies, And Best Practices.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory And Compliance Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Relevant Data Privacy And Security Regulations, Such As Gdpr And Ccpa, And Be Able To Develop And Implement Data Governance Strategies That Ensure Compliance.

  • Proficient In Data Analysis And Reporting: A Sr Data Governance Analyst Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Analyze Large Datasets To Identify Trends, Patterns, And Anomalies. They Should Also Be Able To Create Comprehensive Reports And Dashboards To Communicate Findings To Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Role Of A Sr Data Governance Analyst Involves Collaborating With Various Teams And Departments To Ensure Data Governance Policies And Procedures Are Effectively Implemented. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Build Strong Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Experience With Data Governance Tools And Technologies: Columbia Sportswear May Use Various Tools And Technologies To Support Their Data Governance Efforts. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With These Tools And Be Able To Evaluate, Implement, And Manage Them Effectively. Knowledge Of Data Governance Frameworks Such As Dama-Dmbok Is Also A Plus.
