
Procurement Manager
Columbia Sportswear is looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic procurement initiatives and will be a key member of the company’s leadership team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about driving value by leading a team of procurement professionals to source the highest quality products and services from reliable suppliers.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a procurement role. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of procurement professionals to source the highest quality products and services from reliable suppliers.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive cost savings and create value for Columbia Sportswear
- Analyze market trends and research potential suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure terms are favorable for Columbia Sportswear.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Prepare and present reports to upper management on procurement activities.
- Monitor industry changes and developments to ensure Columbia Sportswear is at the forefront of procurement best practices.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient procurement practices.
- Stay current with new technologies and trends in the procurement industry.
