- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Train and onboard new retail employees, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement training programs for existing retail employees to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Monitor and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to retail employees to promote growth and development.
- Serve as a point of contact for retail employees, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with store managers to identify and address any staffing or operational issues.
- Keep updated on industry trends and best practices in retail operations to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for retail positions, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering a culture of diversity, respect, and continuous learning.
- Manage and maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as human resources and finance, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Columbia Sportswear, promoting our values and mission to both employees and customers.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.
- Continuously evaluate and improve people operations processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Retail Human Resources Or People Operations.
Strong Understanding Of Retail Industry And Its Unique Hr Challenges.
Experience With Hris And Payroll Systems, Preferably Workday.
Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Organizational Skills.
