Materials Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Research and evaluate materials and components for use in Columbia Sportswear apparel and gear.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure availability of materials and components.
3. Negotiate pricing and terms of agreements with suppliers and vendors.
4. Monitor trends and develop strategies to ensure the best quality materials and components are used.
5. Analyze costs, quality standards, and delivery schedules to determine optimal sourcing solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to sourcing activities.
7. Create and maintain accurate records of sourcing activities.
8. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Prepare and present reports and recommendations on sourcing activities.
10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
