Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Inventory Analyst to join Columbia Sportswear's team. You will be responsible for managing our inventory and ensuring that our products are available to our customers. We believe that you have the necessary skills and qualifications to be successful in this role and that you will contribute to the company's overall success.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. You must also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, with a broad knowledge of inventory management systems and processes. You should be familiar with the principles of inventory control, and have experience forecasting and managing inventory levels. Additionally, you must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Above all, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about our mission and can bring enthusiasm and dedication to their work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective inventory management processes and systems.
  2. Monitor and analyze inventory levels and movements in order to identify and address any potential issues.
  3. Develop and maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
  4. Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs in order to optimize inventory levels.
  5. Develop and manage inventory budgets.
  6. Research and recommend new inventory management technologies and techniques.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of inventory.
  8. Monitor and analyze supplier performance and develop strategies to improve supplier relationships.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  10. Develop and enforce inventory policies and procedures.
