Job Description

At Columbia Sportswear, we are looking for an experienced and dependable Inventory Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and data entry skills, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for accurately tracking and managing the company’s inventory, ensuring that our systems are up-to-date and that our products are available for our customers.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role, as well as a good working knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Excel. The ability to work with minimal supervision and a strong customer service orientation are also essential.We look forward to hearing from ambitious and dedicated candidates who want to be part of a team that is passionate about delivering quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that customer orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Analyze inventory data to identify trends and develop solutions to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to ensure the accuracy of data.
  4. Process returns and transfers of inventory in accordance with company procedures.
  5. Assist in the development of forecasts and budgets related to inventory management.
  6. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of inventory.
  7. Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and annual inventory reports.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to inventory management.
  9. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure optimal inventory levels.
