- Develop and execute innovative and effective in-store marketing strategies to drive sales and elevate the Columbia brand.
- Lead a team of talented marketers to create engaging and impactful in-store experiences for customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including retail operations, visual merchandising, and product teams, to bring the Columbia brand to life in our retail stores.
- Develop and manage the in-store marketing budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform and improve in-store marketing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of in-store marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail store managers to understand their needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Act as a brand ambassador and ensure consistency of the Columbia brand messaging and visual identity across all in-store marketing materials.
- Lead the development and execution of promotional events and activities, working closely with retail store teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Oversee the production and distribution of all in-store marketing materials, including signage, displays, and product information.
- Communicate and collaborate with global marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency of in-store marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities for team members.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate in-store marketing strategies and processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for in-store marketing inquiries, providing prompt and effective solutions to any issues that may arise.
- Embody the Columbia brand values and promote a passion for the outdoors among team members and customers.
Extensive Experience In Retail Marketing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In In-Store Marketing, Preferably In The Retail Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Consumer Behavior, Visual Merchandising, And Promotional Strategies To Effectively Drive Sales.
Strong Leadership Skills: As The Director Of North America In-Store Marketing, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Marketing Professionals. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Leading And Developing High-Performing Teams, As Well As Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills.
