- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and business opportunities that align with Cloudflare's vision and goals.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the growth and integration of emerging technologies within the company.
- Lead and manage a team of experts in technology and business to support the development of new products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of emerging technologies into existing products and services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential partnerships and investment opportunities in emerging technologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to anticipate future opportunities and threats.
- Take calculated risks and make data-driven decisions to drive innovation and growth.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and partners to foster collaboration and drive business growth.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources for the Emerging Technologies & Incubation department.
- Act as a spokesperson and thought leader for Cloudflare's emerging technology initiatives, both internally and externally.
Extensive Experience In Emerging Technologies: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Emerging Technologies And Their Potential Impact On The Industry. This Includes Experience In Areas Such As Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, And Internet Of Things (Iot).
Proven Track Record In Building And Scaling New Products: The Vice President Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Scaling New Products Or Services In A Fast-Paced, High-Growth Environment. This Requires Strong Strategic Thinking, Project Management Skills, And The Ability To Navigate Ambiguity.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Will Involve Overseeing A Team Of Product Managers, Engineers, And Other Cross-Functional Team Members. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Inspire And Motivate A Team, As Well As Drive Results.
