Sourcing & Procurement Category Manager - Indirect Sourcing

As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of indirect spend categories, developing and executing sourcing strategies, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in indirect sourcing and procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. - Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for a portfolio of indirect spend categories, with a focus on driving cost savings and optimizing supplier relationships.
- Conduct market analysis and stay informed on industry trends to identify potential cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and provide strategic sourcing support to meet those needs.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives through continuous evaluation and optimization of procurement processes.
- Stay updated on best practices and industry developments in indirect sourcing and procurement, and apply them to improve sourcing processes within the company.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on sourcing strategies and cost savings achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to foster effective communication and collaboration.
- Train and mentor junior team members on sourcing best practices and company policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Sourcing And Procurement, Preferably In The Technology Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Indirect Sourcing Categories Such As It, Marketing, Facilities, And Professional Services.
Demonstrated Experience In Negotiating Contracts And Managing Supplier Relationships.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
