Engineering Manager, Network Software

- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the Network Software department.
- Develop and maintain a high-performance network software infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects by setting clear goals and expectations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in network software technology.
- Identify and address any technical challenges or issues that may arise.
- Foster a culture of innovation and encourage team members to explore new ideas.
- Create and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Recruit and onboard new team members as needed.
- Communicate project updates and progress to management and stakeholders.
- Handle any conflicts or issues within the team in a professional and timely manner.
- Represent the company and the Network Software team in conferences and industry events.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Network Software Development, Including Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C++, Python, And Java.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Software Engineers, Including The Ability To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Resolve Conflicts.
In-Depth Understanding Of Network Protocols And Technologies, Such As Tcp/Ip, Dns, Http, And Cdn, And Experience Implementing Them In Large-Scale Production Environments.
Proven Track Record Of Delivering High-Quality, Scalable, And Reliable Software Products On Schedule, With A Strong Focus On Software Engineering Best Practices And Quality Assurance Processes.
Excellent Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Present Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders, And Provide Clear Project Updates And Status Reports.
