Job Description

Do you have experience in the LATAM market, specifically in Brazil and Portuguese-speaking countries? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Cloudflare!As a BDR for LATAM, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers in the region, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. This role requires fluency in Portuguese and a deep understanding of the business landscape in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries. We are looking for a self-starter who is able to work independently, but also thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.   1. Identify and research potential customers in the LATAM region, specifically in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries.
  2. Qualify leads and assess their potential for becoming clients.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the region, including potential clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  4. Develop and execute a strategic plan for driving revenue growth in LATAM.
  5. Utilize market knowledge and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
  6. Communicate effectively with potential customers to understand their needs and present solutions that align with their goals.
  7. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies.
  8. Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.
  9. Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities in LATAM.
  10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and promote our services.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development in LATAM.
  12. Monitor and report on sales activities and results in the region.
  13. Continuously develop and expand knowledge of the LATAM market, including regulatory and cultural nuances.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold the company's values and brand image.
  15. Proactively seek out new ways to improve and optimize the business development process in LATAM.

Job Qualifications
  • Fluent In Portuguese: The Bdr, Latam Must Be Fluent In Portuguese As They Will Be Responsible For Developing New Business Opportunities In Brazil And Other Portuguese-Speaking Countries In Latin America. This Includes Being Able To Effectively Communicate With Potential Clients And Understand The Local Business Landscape.

  • Sales Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Sales Experience In A B2B Environment. This Includes A Proven Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets, As Well As Experience Working With Crm Systems And Other Sales Tools.

  • Knowledge Of The Tech Industry: Cloudflare Operates In The Tech Industry, So It Is Important That The Bdr, Latam Has A Strong Understanding Of The Industry And Its Trends. This Includes Knowledge Of Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, And Other Relevant Topics.

  • Cultural Awareness: Doing Business In Latin America Requires A Deep Understanding Of The Local Culture, Customs, And Business Practices. The Bdr, Latam Should Possess Cultural Awareness And Sensitivity To Effectively Navigate And Build Relationships In This Market.

  • Strong Communication And Networking Skills: As A Business Development Representative, The Bdr, Latam Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Potential Clients. Therefore, Strong Communication And Networking Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role. The Ability To Effectively Pitch Cloudflare's Products And Services, As Well As Build Rapport With Potential Clients, Is Crucial.
