In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all internal and external investigations, as well as advising on compliance matters to ensure that our company adheres to all legal and ethical standards.   1. Oversee all internal and external investigations for Cloudflare, ensuring that they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  2. Provide guidance and advice to the company on compliance matters, ensuring that all legal and ethical standards are met.
  3. Serve as the head of the Investigations & Compliance division, managing a team of legal professionals and ensuring their success.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  5. Stay current on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to investigations and compliance.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as human resources and finance, to ensure compliance in all aspects of the company.
  7. Conduct thorough and timely investigations into any potential legal or ethical violations within the company.
  8. Prepare and present reports on investigation findings and compliance matters to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  9. Advise the company on risk management and mitigation strategies related to investigations and compliance.
  10. Maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies.
  11. Continuously assess and improve the company's compliance program.
  12. Ensure all employees are trained on legal and ethical standards, and provide ongoing education and guidance as needed.
  13. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  14. Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Investigations And Compliance, Preferably With A Technology Or Cybersecurity Company.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Privacy And Security Laws, Including Gdpr And Ccpa.

  • Experience With Conducting Internal Investigations And Managing External Investigations, Including Responding To Government Inquiries And Subpoenas.

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Provide Strategic Legal Advice To Senior Management.
