- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive excellence in patient care, research, and education within the Digestive Disease Institute.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief of the Digestive Disease Institute to establish and achieve goals for the department.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to a team of physicians and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support team members, providing guidance and resources to help them achieve their professional and personal development goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of the institute, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care services.
- Promote a culture of patient-centered care and ensure that all services provided by the institute meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and developments in the field of digestive diseases and use this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the institute.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, referring physicians, and other healthcare organizations, to enhance the institute's reputation and promote growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments and institutes within the Cleveland Clinic to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and promote a holistic approach to patient care.

Advanced Degree In Medicine: A Vice Chief At Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease Institute Should Have An Advanced Medical Degree, Such As An Md, Do, Or Equivalent, From An Accredited Institution.
Board Certification In Gastroenterology: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Gastroenterology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or An Equivalent Certifying Body.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience: To Be Considered For This Position, Candidates Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Gastroenterology, With A Focus On Complex Digestive Diseases.
