  1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the kidney and pancreas transplant process, from pre-transplant evaluations to post-transplant follow-ups.

  8. Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and the healthcare team, providing clear and timely communication to all parties involved.
  9. Collaborate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to obtain necessary authorizations and approvals for transplant procedures.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies and urgent situations related to transplant patients.
  11. Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of transplantation and incorporate new information into practice.
  12. Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism when working with patients who may be experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the job.
  15. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the transplant program.
