Surgical Technician - Neuro/Spine

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as a Surgical Technician, preferably in Neuro/Spine, and be certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Responsibilities:

1. Assist surgeons in the operating room by providing technical and sterilization services.
2. Ensure the operating room is sterile and safe for patients and staff.
3. Prepare the operating room and instruments prior to surgery.
4. Assist with positioning of patients and moving them to and from the operating room.
5. Perform basic patient assessment and monitoring prior to, during, and after surgery.
6. Maintain and clean surgical instruments and equipment.
7. Provide patient education and instruction before and after surgery.
8. Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
9. Adhere to all safety guidelines and hospital policies.
10. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
