As a Surgical Services Support Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our surgical team in providing the best possible care to our patients.   1. Assisting the surgical team in setting up and preparing the operating room for surgeries.
  2. Ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sterilized for use.
  3. Collaborating with surgeons and nurses to anticipate and meet their needs during surgeries.
  4. Providing support to the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies.
  5. Maintaining a clean and organized operating room before, during, and after surgeries.
  6. Handling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with safety protocols.
  7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of surgical procedures and supplies used.
  8. Assisting with patient positioning and transportation to and from the operating room.
  9. Participating in on-call rotations and responding promptly to emergency surgery requests.
  10. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  11. Continuously monitoring and reporting any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the appropriate personnel.
  12. Attending trainings and staying up-to-date with new techniques and technologies in surgical support.
  13. Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Maintaining a professional demeanor and displaying empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  15. Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Surgical Services
