Bachelor's Or Higher Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For A Surgical Nursing Educator Position At Cleveland Clinic. A Master's Or Doctoral Degree Is Preferred.
Current Rn Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Ohio Or Be Eligible For Licensure In The State.
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Surgical Nursing Is Required. This Experience Should Include A Variety Of Surgical Specialties And Procedures.
Teaching Or Education Experience: Previous Experience As A Nurse Educator Or Teaching In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred. This Experience Should Involve Developing And Delivering Educational Programs And Materials.
Knowledge Of Surgical Nursing: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Surgical Nursing Principles, Techniques, And Procedures. This Includes Familiarity With Current Best Practices, Equipment, And Technology Used In Surgical Settings.
