- Develop and implement individualized training programs for athletes of various levels, taking into consideration their specific goals and needs.
- Conduct fitness assessments and use the results to design tailored exercise programs for athletes.
- Provide guidance and support to athletes in nutrition, injury prevention, and recovery techniques.
- Monitor and track athlete progress, making necessary adjustments to training programs as needed.
- Communicate regularly with athletes to ensure their training programs are meeting their expectations and goals.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for athletes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in sports science, exercise physiology, and coaching techniques.
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with athletes, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to promote the services of Cleveland Clinic and enhance the overall athlete experience.
- Represent Cleveland Clinic at sporting events, conferences, and other community events to promote the organization's commitment to sports performance and wellness.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Cleveland Clinic, including those related to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Uphold the values and mission of Cleveland Clinic, providing exceptional patient care and advancing medical research.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.
Certified Strength And Conditioning Specialist (Cscs) Or Other Relevant Certifications From Reputable Organizations Such As Nsca Or Nasm.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience Working As A Strength And Conditioning Coach Or Sports Performance Coach At A Collegiate Or Professional Level.
Demonstrated Knowledge And Understanding Of Different Training Methodologies, Injury Prevention Strategies, And Sports Nutrition Principles.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Athletes, Coaches, And Other Healthcare Professionals Within A Multidisciplinary Team Setting.
