Job Description

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team and provide excellent care to our patients. As a Speech Therapist, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech and communication disorders, such as stuttering, delayed language, and articulation disorders. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure our patients have the best care. To be successful in this role, you must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology, be licensed in the state of Ohio, and have previous experience working with patients with speech disorders. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic assessments of patients with speech and language disorders.
  2. Develop treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  4. Monitor the progress of patients to assess the effectiveness of treatment.
  5. Provide counseling and education to patients and their families.
  6. Keep detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of speech therapy techniques and best practices.
  8. Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
