- Lead and manage a team of oncology nurses in providing world-class healthcare to patients with solid tumors.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care to patients.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork among nurses.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nurses, providing feedback and coaching as needed to ensure high-quality care.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings to keep nurses updated on best practices and new developments in solid tumor oncology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or needs.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in solid tumor oncology, and incorporate this knowledge into patient care.
- Manage the budget and resources allocated to the oncology nursing department.
- Oversee the scheduling and assignment of nurses to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Serve as a role model for excellence in nursing practice and professionalism.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring of new nurses, as well as the orientation and training of new team members.
- Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise within the oncology nursing team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided to patients with solid tumors.
Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Solid Tumor Oncology Nursing
Advanced Certification In Oncology Nursing (E.g. Ocn, Aocns)
Previous Management Or Leadership Experience In An Oncology Setting
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher, Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Preferred
