Senior Coding Quality Auditor

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding, auditing and quality assurance, as well as experience in healthcare. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for quality assurance and coding accuracy to make a difference in the healthcare industry.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of five years' experience in coding and quality assurance, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, CPT coding, ICD-10, and HCPCs. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an eye for detail. A bachelor's degree in healthcare, coding or a related field is preferred, but not essential. The right candidate will also have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure coding accuracy and accuracy of medical records
2. Ensure accuracy of coding and quality assurance processes
3. Perform audits on coding and medical records
4. Monitor and analyze coding and compliance trends
5. Prepare reports and present findings to management
6. Develop, implement and maintain coding quality assurance policies and procedures
7. Train and mentor junior coders
8. Educate physicians and other healthcare professionals on coding regulations and best practices
9. Manage data entry of medical records into electronic health record systems
10. Maintain knowledge of applicable coding regulations and standards
