  1. Provide exceptional care: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional care to patients in the Telemetry and Neurology department. This includes administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring their overall well-being.
  2. Utilize expertise and compassion: The successful candidate will use their expertise and compassion to make a positive impact on the lives of patients. This includes using critical thinking skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
  3. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures: The RN must follow all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and patient privacy regulations.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The RN will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  5. Monitor and document patient progress: Accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions is crucial in this role. The RN must maintain organized and detailed patient records, including vital signs, medication administration, and any changes in condition.
  6. Educate patients and families: The RN will provide education to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment plan, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health and recovery.
  7. Respond to emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, the RN must be able to act quickly and efficiently to stabilize the patient and take appropriate actions to ensure their safety.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean environment: The RN is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and maintaining infection control protocols.
  9. Continuously improve patient care: The RN will participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge, contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care in the Telemetry/Neurology department.
  10. Uphold professional standards: As a representative of Cleveland Clinic, the RN must uphold professional standards and adhere to the ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License In The State Of Ohio

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Bls And Acls Certifications

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Telemetry And Neurology Nursing

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Medical Data And Respond Quickly To Changing Patient Conditions.
