  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  2. Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, and promptly respond to any changes or concerns.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure accurate documentation.
  5. Utilize critical thinking skills to quickly and effectively address urgent situations.
  6. Act as a resource and mentor for other members of the healthcare team, including nursing students and new employees.
  7. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  10. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  11. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
  12. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and seek opportunities for professional growth.
  13. Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care.
  14. Stay updated on current trends and advancements in critical care nursing.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing changes to improve patient outcomes.
  16. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
  17. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during difficult times.
  18. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless transition between departments.

  20. Uphold professional standards and ethical principles in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Prior Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In An Intensive Care Unit.

  • Strong Critical Thinking, Communication, And Organizational Skills.
