  1. Provide critical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Assist with medical procedures and surgeries.
  6. Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
  8. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
  9. Remain up-to-date on current research, treatments, and protocols in CVICU healthcare.
  10. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  11. Display compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
  14. Act as a resource and mentor for less experienced nurses.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License In The State Of Ohio

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (Cvicu)

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Respond Quickly And Effectively In Emergency Situations
