- Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of an RN New Grad in the Emergency Department is to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. This includes assessing patient needs, administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Work in a fast-paced environment: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and it is essential for the RN New Grad to be able to work efficiently and effectively in this setting. This includes prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and remaining calm under pressure.
- Collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals: The RN New Grad will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals, including physicians, advanced practice providers, and senior nurses. It is important for them to collaborate and communicate effectively with the team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
- Develop and refine nursing skills: This role will provide ample opportunities for the RN New Grad to develop and refine their nursing skills. - Provide support to patients and their families: The Emergency Department can be a stressful and overwhelming environment for patients and their families. Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Position, As It Ensures A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Clinical Practice.
Current Rn License In The State Of Ohio: A Valid And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Ohio Is Necessary To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The Emergency Department At Cleveland Clinic.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For This Position, As Emergency Department Nurses Must Be Prepared To Respond To Life-Threatening Situations.
Prior Clinical Experience In An Acute Care Setting: While This Is A New Grad Position, Previous Clinical Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Clinic, Is Highly Preferred As It Demonstrates The Ability To Handle A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Effective Communication And Critical Thinking Skills Are Essential For Success In The Emergency Department, As Nurses Must Be Able To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Quickly Assess And Prioritize Patient Needs.
