  1. Provide expert and compassionate care to pediatric patients during inter-hospital transfers.
  2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and stabilize patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for pediatric patients.
  4. Monitor and document patient vital signs, behaviors, and responses to treatments.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills.
  10. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  11. Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to the needs of pediatric patients and their families.
  12. Stay up-to-date with current best practices and evidence-based care for pediatric critical care.
  13. Remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.
  14. Take initiative and be proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues or concerns.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare facilities and providers to ensure seamless and safe patient transfers.
  16. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting patient satisfaction.
  17. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  18. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  19. Serve as a role model for other staff members and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and protocols to enhance patient outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Rn License In The State Of Ohio.

  • Certification In Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) And Basic Life Support (Bls).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Critical Care Transport, Preferably In A Level I Or Ii Pediatric Trauma Center.

  • Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In High-Stress Situations.
