- Provide exceptional patient care: As an RN in our Ambulatory Dermatology department, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality and compassionate care to our patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals: You will work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments: You will be responsible for conducting initial and ongoing assessments of patients' dermatological conditions, as well as monitoring their progress and making adjustments to their treatment plans as needed.
- Administer treatments and medications: You will administer various treatments and medications to patients, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.
- Educate patients and families: As a healthcare professional, you will play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate records: It will be your responsibility to accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to clinical protocols and standards: You will follow established clinical protocols and standards to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care to our patients.
- Communicate with patients and families: You will communicate regularly with patients and their families to provide updates on their condition, address any concerns, and answer questions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: You will work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, pharmacists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay updated on industry developments: As a healthcare professional, you will be responsible for staying current on industry developments and best practices in dermatology to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards: You will adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of your work, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives: You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care and outcomes.
- Mentor and train new staff:
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Ohio.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Dermatology Or Related Field.
Advanced Certification In Dermatology Nursing (E.g. Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner).
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Patient Education And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team.
