
Registered Nurse - Ortho/Neuro/Trauma

- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with orthopedic, neurological, and traumatic injuries in the Ortho/Neuro/Trauma department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the attending physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and document all interventions in the patient's medical record.
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure patient safety by following established protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date on current nursing practices, procedures, and standards to provide the highest quality of care.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment provided.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Adhere to all regulations, laws, and hospital policies to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
- Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient privacy at all times.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications.
Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Or Equivalent Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Orthopedic, Neurologic, Or Trauma Nursing.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
