
Registered Behavior Technician

As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based behavior therapy to help children reach their full potential. - Provide individualized, evidence-based behavior therapy to children with special needs, specifically autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Implement behavior intervention plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and monitor progress towards treatment goals.
- Utilize a variety of techniques and strategies to teach new skills and decrease challenging behaviors.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client progress, including data collection and progress notes.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and other team members to ensure the best quality of care.
- Attend ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with current research and best practices.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for patients, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, recognizing the unique challenges they may face.
- Uphold the mission and values of the Cleveland Clinic, promoting a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the Cleveland Clinic in a positive manner at all times.
Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) Certification From The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Bacb).
Education: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required, With A Preference For Candidates With A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Psychology, Special Education, Or Applied Behavior Analysis.
Experience: At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities Or Behavioral Challenges Is Preferred, With A Focus On Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans And Conducting Direct Therapy Sessions.
Knowledge Of Applied Behavior Analysis (Aba): The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Principles Of Aba And Be Able To Apply Them In A Clinical Setting.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Working With Clients And Collaborating With A Multidisciplinary Team. The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Build Rapport With Clients And Their Families.
