- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising behavior analyst.
- Collect and record data on patient progress and behavior.
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including behavior analysts, therapists, and caregivers, to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when working with patients and their families.
- Continuously seek opportunities for growth and learning to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of behavior analysis.
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.

Completion Of Registered Behavior Technician Training Program: Candidates Must Have Successfully Completed A Training Program That Meets The Requirements Set By The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Bacb).
Bacb Certification: Applicants Must Hold A Valid Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) Certification From The Bacb. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Behavior Analytic Services Under The Supervision Of A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Bcba).
Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities, Preferably In A Clinical Or Educational Setting. This Experience Can Include Working With Children Or Adults With Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Or Other Developmental Disorders.
Knowledge Of Behavior Analysis Principles: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Behavior Analysis Principles, Including Reinforcement, Prompting, And Data Collection. This Knowledge Is Essential For Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans And Collecting Data On Client Progress.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As An Rbt, Candidates Will Be Working Closely With A Team, Including A Bcba, Other Therapists, And The Client's Family. Therefore, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Collaborating Effectively And Providing Quality Care To Clients.
