  1. Provide direct behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  2. Create and implement effective treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  3. Utilize ABA techniques and interventions to help individuals with developmental disabilities reach their goals and achieve their full potential.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including behavior analysts and caregivers, to ensure continuity of care.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and other team members to discuss progress, concerns, and any changes in treatment plans.
  7. Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of ABA and incorporate new techniques and strategies into treatment plans.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  11. Provide support and guidance to clients and their families, promoting a positive and nurturing environment.
  12. Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients and their families.
  13. Attend regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by Cleveland Clinic and the BACB.
  15. Represent Cleveland Clinic in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) Position At Cleveland Clinic Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Ensures That Candidates Have A Strong Foundation In Academic Skills.

  • Rbt Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Rbt Certification From The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Bacb) To Be Considered For A Position At Cleveland Clinic. This Certification Is Proof Of Competency In Applied Behavior Analysis (Aba) Techniques And Principles, Which Are Essential For Working With Individuals With Behavioral Disorders.

  • Experience Working With Individuals With Autism Or Other Developmental Disorders: Cleveland Clinic Seeks Candidates Who Have Experience Working With Individuals With Autism Or Other Developmental Disorders. This Experience Could Include Working In A Clinical Setting, Providing In-Home Therapy, Or Volunteering With Organizations That Support Individuals With Special Needs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Rbt, You Will Be Working Closely With Clients, Their Families, And A Team Of Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Rapport With Clients And Collaborating Effectively With Colleagues.
