Job Description

The Cleveland Clinic Department of Regional Radiology is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Radiologist to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to join a team of dedicated radiologists providing state-of-the-art imaging services to patients in the Cleveland region. The successful candidate will possess the necessary qualifications to join our professional team of radiologists and will be a key contributor to our service excellence. The successful candidate must possess an M.D. degree, eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio, and certification by the American Board of Radiology. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and a demonstrated track record of success in a hospital setting. The Radiologist must have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and be able to interact professionally with other physicians and staff. The Radiologist must also demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, quality assurance, and safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose diseases and injuries using imaging techniques such as CT scans, MRIs, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
  2. Provide detailed reports of imaging results to referring physicians and other healthcare providers.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and imaging results.
  4. Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, managing patient schedules, and billing.
  5. Stay current on new developments in the field of radiology through continuing education and research.
  6. Ensure patient safety and quality assurance standards are met at all times.
  7. Participate in staff meetings and other professional activities.
  8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
